Holy Savior Academy will be participating in the annual South Plainfield Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 4th. We are beginning to make preparations for building our float and we need your help! South Plainfield has not announced the theme for the parade but as soon as they do, we will get busy getting ready! Float building will occur on Saturday, September 2nd. If you are interested in helping us build the float, please contact Debbie Metz at email@example.com. If you have never seen the South Plainfield Labor Day parade, it is one of the largest around. When we say build a float, we mean that we are building a float on a 50-foot flatbed trailer and our drivers are from Hall’s Trucking Company. We need your help and we need lots of students to come out to the parade to ride on the float!
If you would like to be in the parade and ride on the float, we will meet in front of the PAL building on Maple Avenue at 9:00 am on September 4th. The parade starts at 10 am. All students riding on the float should have a responsible adult with them. Some adults can ride and some adults are needed to walk alongside the float as spotters. Please check the school website/ FB page at the end of the summer for more information about the parade and how you can help. For any questions, email Debbie Metz at firstname.lastname@example.org or on the day of the event text or call her at 732-689-4043.
