‘I love my job” is a slogan that captures the way I feel about being the school librarian at Holy Savior Academy. I believe that simply placing books into the hands of students provides them with the opportunity to expand their horizons and enhance their overall educational experience.
I have worked as a school librarian in the Diocese of Metuchen for fifteen years, beginning at Saint Joseph School, North Plainfield, then at Sacred Heart School, South Plainfield, and finally here at Holy Savior Academy.
My love of reading with children flourished with the wonderful blessing of reading to my own five children. Stacks of books piled on our sofa, coffee table and nightstands seemed to be part of our décor for many years.
I am glad to serve our student readers at Holy Savior Academy in these developing years of their lives. I am grateful for the work of parents who support literacy in the home. It is my hope we will cultivate strong lifelong readers who will achieve academic success and ultimately fulfill their dreams and life mission.
