Happy October! Our beginning was a huge success thanks to everyone working together. The students are into their studies and most have already taken the first MAP Assessment for this year! Next week our first and second graders will be taking the MAP Test.
On Monday, the children will be able to purchase lunch from J & K Catering, Ms. Kim. Information has already been sent home and is on the website. The children will be going to one of the classrooms that has been converted into a temporary lunch space. They will then return to their classrooms to eat.
The beginning of next week is relatively quiet, and then on Thursday, October 7, the students will be having a virtual presentation. The Illusion Makers Environmental Show will be presented via Zoom for grades PreK through Grade 3 at 12:10PM and then grades 4 through 8 will see the show at 1:00PM. This program is given courtesy of South Plainfield Clean Communities Office.
Friday is BNL School Picture Day! All of the children in grades PreK through Grade 8 will have their pictures taken. The children in grades K through 8 will come to school in their uniforms for pictures. The children will have individual pictures and class group pictures. The Eighth Graders will also have their Graduation pictures taken with their Cap and Gown. Cap & gowns will be sent home Monday.
On Saturday, October 9, we will be celebrating the Tenth Anniversary of Holy Savior Academy in the front parking lot. The festivities will begin at 11:00AM and end around 1:00PM. There will be music, games, food, and prizes! Come join us as we celebrate HSA and ten years of excellence! Good Friends, Good Food, Good Fun!!
Information will be coming home for the upcoming Scholastic Book Fair! Look for it in your child’s backpack.
