Today was the last day of Catholic Schools Week and we celebrated our Faculty and Staff! They are truly the heart of Holy Savior Academy!
This Catholic Schools Week was wonderful, and we had a terrific time celebrating who we are-A Catholic School that exemplifies Faith, Excellence and Service!
We will be back to business on Monday! We will begin MAP Testing in grades 3 through 8. Student will test on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Grades 1 and 2 will test the week of February 14.
On Monday, our eighth graders will be begin selling Valentine Candy Grams! They are using it as a fundraiser for their upcoming class trip. The flyer that details what is offered is attached and the eighth graders will be selling grams during lunch time and recess. All candy grams will be delivered on Monday, Valentine’s Day, February 14.
The eighth graders are also in charge of the Gertrude Hawks Candy Fundraiser. Information was sent home during the week and all orders must be received by March 7. Our eighth graders appreciate your participation in their two fundraisers that will help defray the cost of their trip on the Spirit of New Jersey in May.
There will be tryouts on Wednesday, February 9, at 2:45PM until 4:00PM for our Spring Musical. Seussical the Musical Kids! The tryouts are for children in grades 3 through 8. All grade levels will be participating in the production; the tryouts are for speaking parts.
Please save the date, Wednesday, February 23, 6:30PM, for the State of the School Address. The meeting will take place here in the school gym and will also be offered on LIVE STREAM. I, along with Ms. Sharon Strack, the Board of Limited Jurisdiction President and other Board Members, will be giving a detailed explanation of the state of the school, where we are and what we need to do to be successful as we move into the future. A large part of our success is enrollment; please be sure to re-register and share the good news about Holy Savior Academy!
