Today we gathered with our parents for Morning Prayer and then had an assembly to recognize our students’ Academic Successes for the Third Marking Period. We also awarded certificates for our grade level Respect Life Poster Contest winners and the Top Fundraiser for American Heart Association. We acknowledged our 5/6 Basketball Team Players and Coaches for their outstanding season. We also drew the Calendar Raffle winner for this week; Greg P., ticket number #015, is the winner of the $50.00 prize!
At 1:00PM, our sixth, seventh and eighth grade students will perform the Living Stations of the Cross. This beautiful presentation will help each of us spiritually as we prepare for Holy Week.
On Monday, April 11, everyone will have a Dress Down Day wearing a light-colored shirt and dark pants so that we can take an aerial picture of our students spelling out “HSA.” This picture is being taken for this year’s yearbook.
On Tuesday, April 12, the students will come dressed in their new Rise Up and Run Movin’ to the Beat! Shirts for the Walk-a-thon! Students should also wear sneakers and sweats.
Wednesday, April 13, is our last day before our Easter Break. The school will be closed on April 14 through April 22. Classes will resume on Monday April 25.
Remember to purchase your tickets for “Designer Bag Bingo.” Tickets are on sale at the school office.
On behalf of the entire Faculty and Staff, I want to wish all within our community a Happy Joyous Easter!
May God continue to bless all of you!
Mrs. Carol Woodburn
