We are coming to the end of February and will begin March on Tuesday,
Tuesday, March 1, is the last session for our afterschool program, Minecraft Club. The children will have a small celebration to mark the end of this session. Those that attended did have fun and gained insight into the creation of space and activities within the game.
Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of our Lenten Season. The children will be attending the 9:00AM Parish Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart. They will also be receiving ashes after Mass.
The eighth graders will be having a Yearbook Meeting on Wednesday after school and as part of that meeting, they will be having a Photography Workshop that will help them with their picture taking for the Yearbook.
Friday, March 4, is First Friday and the children will be attending the 9:00AM Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Our fourth graders will be the main participants.
Friday is also a noon dismissal. Aftercare will be provided; if your child is staying for Aftercare, please be sure to pack a lunch.
Knights of Columbus Fish Dinner will continue this Lenten Season from Our Lady of Czestochowa. Please visit their website for more information.
Ms. Fusco has distributed information on the American Heart Association Fundraiser that she is heading. If you wish to contribute, she will be accepting donations until the end of March.
