I have been proud to serve as principal of Holy Savior Academy since February 2016. I came in at the request of the Diocese and Board of Limited Jurisdiction to serve as the Interim Principal for the remainder of the 2015-2016 school year. When Mrs. Kiernan did not return, I was asked to remain for 2018-2019.
Prior to coming to HSA, I served for thirty-two years at Saint John Vianney School in Colonia as Middle-Level Language Arts Teacher, Assistant Principal and then Principal. I retired from SJV .in 2014. During that short retirement, I was able to spend time with my husband and family, relaxing, and traveling. My husband and I also moved from Colonia to South Plainfield and became parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish.
God had a different plan though, and here I am at HSA providing, what I hope, is effective leadership and guidance to all within the school. Everyone throughout the school has been most welcoming and accepting; they have made my time here very rewarding and I know that moving forward our partnership will continue to flourish with the children being the direct beneficiaries.
I truly believe that there is a ripple effect in all that we do each and every day. What I do affects you and what you do affects me and because we have interacted with each other both of our lives have been changed forever--hopefully, in a positive way.
