Hello! I am Mrs. Theresa Pasqua, and I’m honored to be the next principal of Holy Savior
Academy. HSA is such an amazing school and I am ready to lead HSA on a path of continued
growth and success!.
Over the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to learn about the school and community. I
will be working tirelessly to listen and learn more as the days go by. I am humbled by the fact
that Mrs. Woodburn, faculty, staff, and I share a common vision- we are all relentlessly
committed to putting the needs of children at the center of our work. I look forward to learning
and working with all members of our community to raise the bar for students by challenging
them academically, helping them grow and develop socially and spiritually, and actively
engaged in their learning. We will continue to keep students SAFE, MOTIVATED, and HAPPY!
I am inspired by the strong collaboration and commitment to student learning at HSA. Together,
we can ensure that we are all learning and growing for our number one priority: Doing what is
best for OUR children/students!
I’ve been a teacher and Vice Principal at St. Thomas the Apostle School, a National Blue
Ribbon School, in Old Bridge, for nearly 17 years. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
Management from Pace University, and spent several years as Director of Marketing and Sales
in the telecommunications industry. In 2003, I joined the faculty of St. Thomas the Apostle.
earned a Masters Degree in Education, and a second Masters Degree in Educational
Leadership and Administration. I also have been working toward a Doctorate in Reading and
Literacy. In addition to my experience in education, I was an entrepreneur and a successful
business owner for over 20 years.
Among some of my achievements during my tenure at St. Thomas are implementing fundraising
campaigns which have raised over $150,000 for school improvements and technology. I served
as Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator, piloted Financial Literacy programs for students in
grades 5-8, and spearheaded Mindfulness Training and Socialization programs for both
students and parents. Lastly, I helped establish the St. Thomas Learning Garden, an outdoor
classroom, and assisted in leading the school to achieve a National Blue Ribbon in 2018.
On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful guy named, Patrick and have 2 amazing
children (you will see them from time to time ). They are by far, my finest achievements! I am
also mom to a little “”fur baby” Shih-Tzu named Zoey. Some of my favorite pastimes include
walks on the beach, watching fireworks, cooking and baking, gardening and spending time with
family and friends.
I stand ready to join the Holy Savior Academy Community to ensure its future success, and am
fully committed to this endeavor. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
