We are excited to announce our new Science program – HMH Science Dimensions. The Science teachers of HSA attended a full day of training on the new program, ensuring the students and teachers experience the many exciting facets of the program.
It is an immersive digital program designed to enrich the curriculum with timely videos, simulations, HMH Field Trips powered by Google® Expeditions, and opportunities for further online exploration. Lessons will be student-centered, with the teacher as a facilitator, leading the students to analyze, apply, and explain Scientific phenomena. Students will be working in the lab once a week during their Lab period, which is 80 minutes of exploration and investigation.
New this Year, HSA will be introducing our MakerSpace. Here students will be able to explore and create using such programs as coding, Lego Robotics, Makey Makey, Animation Station, and 3D Pen creations.
